AB-620: Design and Build Integrated AI Agent Solutions in Copilot Studio

Course overview

Designed for developers and advanced builders, this program teaches you to plan, build and extend intelligent AI agents that go well beyond basic chatbots. You’ll learn to connect agents to enterprise knowledge and business data, extend them with tools, connectors and Model Context Protocol (MCP), build multi-agent solutions, and test, publish and govern agents in production using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform and Microsoft Foundry.

Entry requirements

No formal prerequisites. Familiarity with Power Fx, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Platform environments and basic REST API concepts is strongly recommended. Hands-on experience building simple agents in Copilot Studio will help; AB-730 or AI-901 are useful precursors.

Certification & exam information

This program prepares you for the AB-620 Microsoft exam (Designing and Building Integrated AI Agent Solutions in Copilot Studio), leading to the Microsoft Certified: AI Agent Builder Associate credential, where available at the time of enrolment. The Microsoft exam is not included by default — add an official exam voucher at checkout, or use one you already hold. On completion you receive a MILCOM TECH course completion certificate; where applicable, you may also receive a Microsoft course completion record/certificate for the official course. These are separate from Microsoft certification and are not a nationally recognised qualification.
