Course overview

Learn to plan and implement information security for sensitive data using Microsoft Purview. This program covers information protection and sensitivity labelling, data loss prevention, retention and lifecycle, insider risk management, and protecting data used by AI services — the core of the Information Security Administrator role.

Certification & exam information

This program prepares you for Exam SC-401: Administering Information Security in Microsoft 365, leading to Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate (Associate). The Microsoft exam is not included by default — add an official exam voucher at checkout, or use one you already hold. On completion you receive a MILCOM TECH course completion certificate; where applicable, you may also receive a Microsoft course completion record/certificate for the official course. These are separate from Microsoft certification and are not a nationally recognised qualification.
